From cooking dishes and windshields to light bulbs, there are plenty of household items that could be easily recycled. What's best about glass is that it could be re-cyled over and over again. So the best thing to do is to check with your government’s waste office and find out how to easily recycle these items.

Metals are widely accepted in recycling centers, as well, especially drink and food cans, made from aluminum or steel. It is really curious that you can even recycle aluminium foil, but firts you should make sure it is clean, of course...

Almost  every paper item is recyclable, so think twice before you throw out the paper iteam.  Be careful with your milk and juice cartons only. As they are usually made of cardboard placed between very thin layers of plastic, not all the material is recyclable and not all are accepted in the recycling centers.

Probably you have not paid attention, but each plastic product has its own plastic Identification code. That's a small triangle, usually on the bottom, with a number inside, as number can be any from 1 to 7. Plastics with codes 1 or 2 are most well- accepted in recycling centers, which include containers used for juice, water, milk and body-care products, as well as beverage bottles.
