    Anti-materiel rifle

    Anti-materiel rifle

    http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Anti-materiel_rifle
    • DMG / DPS: 110 / 49.3
    • Type: Gun
    • Found in game(s): New Vegas

This weapon is a bolt-action .50 caliber rifle that is designed for use against military equipment (or "materiel" in military language). The AMR is similar in design principle to that of a sniper rifle, delivering a high power shot at long distances with great accuracy, although chambered in a larger caliber for hardened targets. As such, the AMR has extremely high damage and low weapons spread and comes pre-equipped with a scope. The magnification level of the scope is 3.13x for this weapon. Offsetting this is its slow rate of fire resulting in a low damage-per-second and that the weapon itself weighs 20 pounds making it one of the heaviest shoulder fired weapons in the game. Additionally, its .50 MG ammunition is very uncommon, very expensive, and is heavy if carried in bulk on hardcore mode; a full box will be holding two pounds of ammunition without the Pack Rat perk. When fired from the hip (without aiming), the resulting recoil from the weapon's large caliber will result in the user being pushed backwards (evident in third-person view). Aiming down the scope will prevent this.

    • DMG / DPS: 80/138,9
    • Type: Meele
    • Found in game(s): Fallout: New Vegas

Oh, Baby! is a unique variant of the super sledge. It is much more powerful than the standard variant and has noticeably larger striking surfaces. Despite its rusted condition, it is one of the most powerful melee weapons in the game. It has a special Mauler attack that does 50% damage in V.A.T.S. at the cost of 8 more action points, but has a chance to knock down enemies (requires a Melee skill of 50).

This weapon was originally a U.S. checkpoint guard carbine used in Canada, issued from the Long Branch Arsenal in Ontario, USA territory. • DMG / DPS: 7 to 11
    • Type: Gun
    • Found in game(s): Fallout
The CZ53 is an excellent big gun, especially since it's one of only 3 big guns in Fallout, and one of the more common big guns in Fallout 2. It's best at mid- to close-range shooting, where its 40 round bursts can tear apart small groups of enemies. At longer ranges, fewer bullets hit, resulting in a lower damage due to the small bullets it shoots. The hollow-point round multipliers create ridiculous amounts of damage, while the AP ammo remains useless due to engine glitches and miscalculations.

    Holorifle

    Holorifle

    http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Holorifle
    • DMG / DPS: 80 / 88.9
    • Type: Energy Weapons
    • Found in game(s): New Vegas - Dead Money
The holorifle is a scoped, pump-action energy based weapon. The weapon's main body is similar in appearance to that of a grenade launcher. The scope of the weapon also appears similar to that of a laser rifle scope, but with the advantage that the holorifle's scope features integrated night vision. However, the magnification level of the holorifle scope is only 2.86x, compared to the 3.5x magnification of the laser rifle scope. The weapon is unique in that its projectile is not a bullet, plasma, laser, flame, electromagnetic pulse, or electrical charge. Since the holorifle is based on hologram technology, it fires a solid light-based energy projectile, and so is most similar to particle-based energy weapons (i.e., lasers). On impact, the projectile applies a "holorifle damage" effect, dealing an additional 15 damage over three seconds (similar to the "flame damage" done by a flamer or incinerator) and knocking the target back. As with most other energy weapons, the holorifle's projectile will ignite any gas traps and other flammable hazards that it comes in contact with. The holorifle uses microfusion cells for ammunition, loading up to four cells in a tubular under-barrel magazine. As the magazine is internal, the weapon must be reloaded by hand, one cell at a time, resulting in longer reload times compared to other energy weapons. However, the reloading process can be interrupted for immediate firing. The holorifle thus has the singular advantage of being able to immediately fire again if less than a full magazine is needed. Due to the unique nature of the holorifle, it cannot be repaired by any other weapon, even with the Jury Rigging perk, this is because there are no other pump action energy weapons like the holorifle available. It can be repaired only by weapon repair kits, merchants, or through ED-E with at least one rank of the Camarader-E perk.

    Bozar (GRA)

    Bozar (GRA)

    http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Bozar_(GRA)
    • DMG / DPS: 19 / 285
    • Type: Gun
    • Found in game(s): New Vegas - Gun Runners Arsenal

The Bozar is a powerful automatic 5.56mm light machine gun with an ammunition capacity of 30. It has a lower damage per shot than the light machine gun and its spread is also rather high, which limits its suitability for long-range combat. However, a high rate of fire, the use of commonly available ammunition, low AP cost, a remarkably fast reload speed and a high DPS make the Bozar an extremely valuable weapon for any player skilled in Guns.
