Lead actress Tracey Gold was actually recovering from the disease while making the movie and used her own life experience for the portrayal of Nancy. Nancy Walsh is a high school graduate who is apprehensive about the future. After losing weight after having a wisdom tooth removed, Nancy notices the changes in her body and becomes obsessed with losing weight. When she commences college, she becomes withdrawn and is increasingly conscious of her weight. for example, she commences exercising all the time and hardly eats. At college, she closes herself up in her room, afraid of socializing with other people. she also keeps her room in meticulous order. Although most of her friends, neighbors and brother Tommy notice that she is losing a lot of weight, her mother ignores the changes in Nancy. Her brother Patrick is the first one to confront her about it and at a Christmas party, everyone is shocked by how thin she looks. Some of the scenes feature similar antics to those seen in his own The Tom Green Show and scenes in Road Trip. It is largely built around gross-out and shock humor. Much of the movie was filmed in Southern California and in Vancouver, British Columbia. Freddy Got Fingered was initially called one of the worst films of all time by many organizations and film critics. However, it has also gained a cult following in later years, with some critics and fans hailing its unique bizarre sensibility as almost avant garde in nature. Green plays a 28-year-old slacker/cartoonist named Gordon "Gord" Brody, who is pursuing his ambition to obtain a contract for a TV show. He heads off for Hollywood, and subsequently gets a job in a cheese sandwich factory. He also goes to an animation studio looking for Mr. Davidson (Anthony Michael Hall). The film focuses on television reporter Lanie Kerrigan (Angelina Jolie) and her quest to find meaning in her life. The original music score was composed by David Newman. The film's tagline is: "Destiny is what you make of it." Lanie Kerrigan (Angelina Jolie), a successful reporter for a Seattle television station interviews a self-proclaimed prophet, Jack (Tony Shalhoub), to find out if he really can predict football scores. Instead, Prophet Jack not only predicts the football score, and that it would hail the next day, but also that she would die in seven days, meaning the following Thursday. When his first two prophecies turn out to be correct, Kerrigan panics and again meets with Jack and asks him for another prophecy so that she could prove it wrong; which would imply uncertainty of her death. Jack tells her that there will be a relatively significant earthquake in San Francisco at 9:06 am, she hopes that it would be wrong but again it also becomes reality.
