    Common Errors in English Usage

    Common Errors in English Usage

    http://public.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/errors.html

This is an online resource that both has its own blog and that links to numerous other resources, some of which are also blogs. They have a section that is dedicated to the most common errors we all make. If you click on the error then you are taken a small blog post that explains it. The concept is very clever and it has given the blogger plenty to write about because every time the blogger sees a new error he or she is able to add a new post to the blog and error directory. The quality of the website and the blog is worth a look if you are trying to improve your writing skills.

    Guide to Grammar & Writing

    Guide to Grammar & Writing

    http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/index.htm

This is a website and blog that is supported by the Capital Community College Foundation, Hartford, Connecticut. This means that the web design is absolutely shockingly bad, but the content of the entire website is very good. If you can stand the old-fashioned design and childlike graphics and the poor user experience then you will gain a lot from this website. There is a lot of written content on this website, and if you use the text only version then you can read it as if it were a book. It is a shame that the user experience is so bad because the content is so good.
