Tess Gaerthé (born on 21 August 1991 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands), better known as just Tess, was the Dutch representative at the 3rd Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. Singing "Stupid", she finished in 7th place with 82 points. Tess was born in the VU Amsterdam Hospital on 21 August 1991 at 1:05 PM, half an hour after her twin brother Joel.Tess was born with her arm around her head.At night, she would sleep with her arm around her head during the first months of her life.Tess and Joel had many nannies during their childhood because both of their parents worked. Since the JESC, apart from still going to school with an integrated pop/jazz education, she came out with additional singles. "First Kiss" won the award for longest noted artist for 26 weeks in the Kids Top 20. She was asked by Jetix/Dolfinarium to write and sing the title song for the popular TV series Spetter (Mijn allerbeste vriend) and following this came the request to sing the Dutch version of the main duet of High School Musical 2, by Disney. This duet, "De stem van mijn hart", she did together with Thomas Berge. Tess now performs jazz and pop with Tess and the Rhythm Chiefs in Belgium and the Netherlands. Her
